Coming Into The Building…

Please familiarize yourself with the rules.

1)       Only let yourself into the building. Even if another parent is behind you and even if you are friends, please close the door and allow them to let themselves in. This is for safeguarding purposes.

2)       No mobile phones are to be used whilst picking up your child.

3)       If you are ill, including any symptoms of covid-19 please DO NOT attend the nursery. This is a risk and can lead to room closures and we only do this as a last resort.

4)       It is completely your choice, if you still want to keep your distance this is fine and the team and bring your child to the door. If you need your fingerprint registering, please let one of the team know!

Teenie Moons

The Teenie Moons have been so busy in November. They have been learning all about different events & celebrations going on around the world. These include, bonfire night, Remembrance Day and the world cup.
They have also been taking time to go on outings into the local community and explore beyond the nursery. They went to the local park to support their physical development.
We have also joined in with Nursery Rhyme Week, where each day the activities provided were based upon different rhymes that the children enjoy, their favorite day was when we did Incy Winy Spider- as we had water play and all the Teenie’s loved splashing and paddling in

Mini Moons

Mini Moons have been doing similar things but with different learning outcomes. They have been working hard to expand their vocabulary and join in with others play. The EYP’s in Mini Moons have provided an enabling environment by adding resources and planning activities to help the children achieve this goal
The Mini Moons have spoken a lot about fire safety and dangers including learning about road safety week! We found out that the red light means stop and the green light means go!
Mini Moons have had a few Teenie Moons join as they have turned 2 so Happy Birthday 😊

Full Moons

The Full Moons have been exploring their local community by going out and about. They have taken part in lots of lovely Autumn walks and hunts.
They have also been celebrating the bonfire night and the world cup! They have been working hard to expanding their imagination and taking part in pretend games. Megan has worked really hard to set the environment up to suite the children’s needs and support their learning outcomes.
The children also used all the leftover pumpkins from Halloween to make pumpkin soup- its safe the say, they wont be trying that again soon!!
We have had a few Mini Moons join us recently as they have turned 3, so Happy Birthday 😊

The Christmas Fete…
