Teenie Moons

During the month of February, the Teenie Moons have had so much fun. They have learnt all about Valentine’s Day and children mental health week.

The Teenie Moon team wanted to thank everyone for the brilliant turn out to the stay and play- everyone had a lot of fun, and they cannot wait to do it all again! The next stay & play for Teenie Moons is on Thursday 6th April 2023.

The children have enjoyed plenty of sensory activities this month, including scented play dough. They have explored scents such as lavender, rose and ever curry powder!

The team have also worked hard on their routine and the children have adapted well to the slight change. The team have also worked hard on their routine and the children have adapted well to the slight change.

The team have also been planning lots of events ahead of this year and cannot wait to share them with you. They include stay & plays, special days, outings and movement sessions.

Mini Moons

Mini Moons have had a super busy month and have used their imagination in so many ways! From pretending to be pirates to having a toy story adventure- they have played together and used resources to create their own play.

The Mini Moons have also began to focus on colours, as this was a reoccurring gap in the children’s learning. They have explored different sensory play that included colours, and different days have been focused on different colours.

Mini Moons unfortunately had to cancel their February Stay & Play due to lack of interest, but they will be holding a Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea on Tuesday 21st March- where you can drop in to play and stay for tea. It will be from 3pm onwards, with tea served at 4pm. If you are interested, please confirm your attendance so we can order the correct amount of food.

 Full Moons

Full Moons have been busy in February. They have been doing plenty of role play- with the new toys we have been treated too and learnt all about Children’s Mental Health.

The month started with a Spa Day for the children. Where they were treated to a foot bath & facemasks- plus some meditation. The children used avocado, oats, and oak milk to make the face masks, before using them for some relaxation.

The Full Moons have enjoyed getting back outdoors and testing all the new garden equipment. They have loved it and are enjoying all the space we now have to explore and run about.
[The garden is almost finished; we are just awaiting toys to be delivered!!]
